About

Kimera Biotecnologia is a startup created in 2014 from the initiative of the post-doctoral fellow at the Glycobiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmacy - USP, Dr. Camillo Del Cistia Andrade, aiming at the development of a recombinant eCG as an alternative to the product used until then. 

Kimera was born with the proposal to be International and, from an early age, it received support and participated in events and accelerations in Brazil, USA, Europe and Oceania, such as:

• FAPESP - Investment (PIPE 1 - 20014);-

• USA - Trade mission (2015);

• SPIN 2016 - Acceleration in a network event of Universities in Spain (2016);

• BIOCANT - Visit to the Technological Park (Portugal, 2016);

• Biostartup Lab, Acceleration of Biominas companies (2018);

• FAPESP - Investment (PIPE 2 - 2017);

• New Zealand - Trade Mission (2019);

• BiotechTown – Acceleration and Investment (2020,21) - * 2 Demoday Awards;
